As a new FOE group we need your help. There are many ways
to get involved - some are even quite painless.
If you are interested in what we do, why not come along
to one of our informal meetings? These are currently held
at Chalkers Snooker Club in New Mills, just down the A6
from the New Mills Newtown railway station. The meetings
generally last for about an hour and a half, and involve
sitting around chewing over issues of concern while enjoying
a friendly drink.
When we find our feet, we will undoubtedly need a few vounteers
to help us with surveys, staffing stalls, etc. If you could
spare a few hours once or twice a year, we would like to
hear from you.
Is there a local issue close to your heart? Something that
bugs you or worries you? Let us know, either by coming along
to one of our meetings or just by sending us an e-mail.
We can't promise to fix it for you, but we'll do our best
to get you some answers.
